Ryan Campbell, PhD, explores forgotten burial grounds and what they reveal about us. Using archaeological methods like ground-penetrating radar, his research identifies and relocates graves once thought removed or lost, restoring the boundaries around sacred spaces the living once set apart. These rediscovered landscapes offer a unique perspective on how our relationship to sacred spaces can change over time, and how that change reflects the larger social forces that reshape our communities.
