As a collaborative leader and passionate educator, Dr. Overstreet brings deep experience and a commitment to community engagement to our organizational leadership.

Currently serving as President of John A. Logan College, Carterville, IL, Kirk has more than 20 years of experience in higher education and workforce development, having held senior leadership roles at institutions including College of DuPage and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
A trusted partner in bringing people and ideas together, he has built strategic partnerships across academic levels as well as with community organizations and championed student-centered initiatives and innovative approaches to improve access and outcomes.
Devoted to creating inclusive and connected communities that enrich and support the lives of people throughout Southern Illinois, Kirk brings his thoughtful leadership to various regional and statewide boards. He is also a member of the Illinois Council of Community College Presidents.
